The Pacific Disability Support Trust was established in 2013 to fund support services for people with disabilities in the South Pacific, through the work of the Marist Trust.

The trust provides critically needed medical and rehabilitation support for people with spinal injuries throughout Samoa.

We’ve also paid the freight costs of a number of shipping containers full of donated medical supplies from New Zealand to both Fiji and Samoa.

All proceeds from any fundraising we do goes towards caring for those with severe spinal injuries. Everyone in both The Pacific Disability Support Trust and the Marist Trust who carry out our work in Samoa and Fiji, are all volunteers. That means that there are NO overheads to eat up the funds- no salaries, no offices, no vehicles, no entertainment expenses for fundraisers – 100% of all funds raised go to build and restore homes and provide assistance for severely disabled people living in their own homes and villages.
